So back in 2022 pictures of Aishwarya rai Bachchan’s look from the movie PS1 were all over the Instagram. I was also so much mesmerised by those but at that time I was not Drawing actively so it didn’t came into my mind to draw it. So finally I got back to drawing in 2022 end and call it destiny that one post of the movie stills again came across me. I immediately saved those and researched more For some good quality versions. I loved this reference a lot. I wanted this piece to be perfect. I chose faber castle polychromos and a paper size of 9x12inch to create this one. I drew each and every detail very patiently. I wanted it to be my best because I was going to draw something like this after a really long time. The reference image had a simple background but I changed it to bokeh (my USP , lol). Honestly, I thought it would enhance the overall look of the portrait. For me the toughest part of the drawing was those white highlighted hairs. I don’t use white gel pen in my drawings so creating sharp highlights is a tough thing for me. Also as I was going with the bokeh background the highlights were supposed to be more prominent. To be honest this piece was really tough for me. I was not drawing for a long time and working on a detailed portrait for long hours exhausted me. But my excitement to finish it kept me going.
